Acitivities
  1. “NIRMAL UDYAN” – Aamra Susama Jalaprapat is now in the conduction of a Solid & Liquid Waste Management (SLWM)Unit ‘Nirmal Udyan’ to keep the clean rural environment . With the partnership of Raghunathpur – I Gram Panchayat & funded by UNICEF; Kolkata we are going to remove the village garbage through cleanliness of person, family & Nature. To use this garbage, Vermin Compost, Compost Fertilizer, Calcium Dust & Show Pieces from waste paper are being made continuously.
  2. "Clean Matha, Green Matha" Project - It's a special intervention of Capacity Development for Women SHG for Sustaining Nirmal Gram Status and Promotion of Personal Hygiene Practices at HH Level in Dhanudi & Matha Sansad under Matha Gram Panchayat, funded by District Rural Development Cell, Purulia Zilla Parishad. This' unique and innovated programme is rin by different govt. fund ie MGNREGA, SGSY, BRGF, CSPR etc.
  3. National Environment Awareness campaigning (NEAC) - With the financial support and active co-operation of Ministry of Environment & Forest, Govt. of India, and by apparent guidance of "School of Fundamental Research ,Kolkata" we have conducted and been conducting nature & environment related awareness campaigning by Procession, workshop & training programme for the members of SHG to aware and train up them about the necessity of cleanliness and house hold waste management.
  4. Panchayat to Panchayat Learning Exchange Programme (P2P) - To make the decentralization process more strong, more dependable SDC-Cap Deck & Kerala Institute of Local administration (KILA); Trishur,are jointly running P2P programme in Kerala and other six States of India. It's a pioneer programme of Local self Government Department, Govt. of Kerala. We are the facilitating organisation in West Bengal end.
  5. Partnership With Other State Organisation (POSO) - Grameena Patana Kendram (GPK), Karakulam of Trivandram District ; Kerala & Center for Rural management (CRM), Kottayam ; Kerala and our organization Aamra Susama Jalaprapat (ASJ) had jointly organized some programme like State Level Work Shop, Inter State experiences sharing about Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) etc. Govt. officials, researchers, from two states had participated in these programmes.
  6. Sahid Matangini Block Youth Information Center (SMBYIC) - Being inspired by the kind consultation of Nehru Yuba Kendra (NYK), Tamluk ; Purba Medinipur we have established an umbrella organisation with other eleven numbers of Rural Youth Organizations. This is for the development of rural youth through various workshop, training & cultural programme. Under this initiative we organize Bratachari Training Camp with the help "Banglar Bratachari Samity". "Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development University"(RGNIYD), Sreeperumbudur ; Tamilnardu is now guiding this process.
  7. Health Movement Programme – Our organisation is successfully running ‘Late Maya Mandal – o – Lt. Bishnupada Mandal Databya (Chatitable) Chikitsalay. With this programme we also are conducting Advocacy Communication & Social Mobilisation (ACSM on DOTs) under RNTCP programme by the support of German Leprosy & TB Relief Association (GLRA – INDIA) & Southern Health Improvement Samity (SHIS).On regular basis we organise various health related awareness campaigning & Workhop.
  8. "Better Education for Better World" programme -
    1. Book Bank & Computer Literacy Drive Programme - With our minimum social weapons the ASJ runs a book bank and a free computer training center for poor students so that they can't be compelled to leave their school life for unavailability of adequate books and learning materials. ( here it is mentionable that students have to pay only electricity charges).
      We don't want to destroy our resource.
    2. Saradamoyee Sishu Sikshya Niketan - We run a Kinder Garden (KG) School named Saradamoyee Sishu Sikshya Niketan for Nursery to Class - iv students. The Students of this school are taking their studies through not only class-teaching but also computer education, Games & Cultural Programme and others necessary process, worthy for child education.
    3. Monalisha Art School - To make successful the keen intelligence of artistic quality of the children in drawing it also run Monalisha Art School.
  9. Step Against Hunger & unequality (SAHAI) - Aamra Susama Jalaprapat has taken an oath to extends its hands to words the helpless. So it always tries to take initiatives for the upliftment of poorest. In this programme (SAHAI), the helpless aged, beggar, ill persons are given winter clothes , medicines etc.
  10. Solidarity & Action Towards Handicapped & Inequality (SATHI) - For the ethical responsibility to devote ourselves in various activities for the welfare of the Person With Disability. Now an information Center is running for them.
  11. Medicinal Plant Demonstration Garden - In this modern age man are compelled to spend a lot for dieses that can be cured by Medicinal Plant. So in the office premises of Aamra Susama Jalaprapat a medicinal plant has been created.
  12. Self Help Group (SHG) - We also are taking part in SHG movement. We organise training and take other initiative for the upliftment of livelihood of SHG members.
  13. Publication - "Jalaprapat" powered by the writings of young & old is our beloved magazine. It's published once in every three months.
  14. Day observation - On behalf of our organisation we observe every national days and events such as The birthday of Rabindranath Tegor, Netaji subhash Ch. Bose, Jaharlal Nehru, Republic Day, Independence day,Sahid Dibas (Gandhis Matayar day), Aranya Saptaha, World Environment Day, Aranya Saptaha, World Womens Day, World AIDS Day, Anti Tobacoo Day, World TB Day, International Marti Bhasa Divas, World Handicapped Day, Birth day of Sri Sri Maa Saradamoyee, National Youth day etc. in every year.
On the endless journey we are walking a distances with Hope and desire.
